Brian Piana, “The Last 100 Offenders Executed in Texas (Who They Were and What They Said)” (2006) inkjet print
This piece is a visualization of the State of Texas Death Row website, which was a structural mess in 2006. This abstracted site map presents the column list of executed offenders and links to their individual profiles and last statement. Only the last 100 of the approximately 350 offenders that had been executed at that time are represented. Five years later, the number of executed offenders is 466.
